Hello Tiger,

Your book made me laugh and marvel. I can never forget the description of your dog being met by the “wet dog smell” at the entrance to the tube. The story is confusing and wild but the language is inspired and funny. You can create characters that everyone can recognise, which is a wonderful skill I can only point out in admiration.

I absolutely loved spending the weekend with you when you, out of the blue, decided to read what you called the ''the right book at the right time”. After that I went back to read a few of those you left in our then, and now my, flat without much liking them because your voice is what makes the real difference. So I am very much looking forward to when we can meet again. In fact, the spell was broken only when you said “you know, I miss you but I still don’t love you”.

Anyway, the truth is that since then I can't read a word on my own and funnily enough, I don’t really care if you don’t love me any longer, I just want your voice which is by far the better part of you.
